My almost 2 1/2 year old is tall so wears 3T, sometimes 4T. Usually the 4T looks big on him. This size 4T jacket was a little long as expected but it fitted the chest perfectly (so he couldn't grow into it). The biggest hurdle for us was that the neck part was weird because once you closed the top latch it became too tight on your neck. Maybe it's just my son's size, but this jacket didn't fit us.
