This counter works great and has many additional features not typically found in a $40 counter. The appearance of the counter is solid and well finished. NCV capability, higher Cat III and IV ratings, 20A instead of the typical 10A, well-made jumper leads can also be attached to the back of the case for easy testing, auto-ranging (and more) are all pluses. When I first installed the battery I noticed that the meter would not turn on and found that the contacts were not making good contact. I just bent the paper clip right angles at the very end and pulled the battery pins out a bit and then everything was fine. The manufacturer is aware of a battery connector issue on some devices and is working hard to ensure this is no longer an issue. I will recommend this to a friend.
