
Replaced spark plugs and wires on my 2006 Ford Explorer v6 4.0L. About a week after the truck stalled, I thought it was the transmission and took action to fix it. I've let it run occasionally and haven't had any major problems until last week when the spudder came back and it was heavy again. Then the check engine light came on indicating a misfire on cylinder #3, pulled out the spark plug and the porcelain was broken and cracked in 3 different places. Shotguns, so be careful, there will be a misfire after installing these plugs.
