Review on TV tuner World Vision Foros Combo T2/S2 black by Mateusz Banaszkiewic ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nothing ordinary, a normal product.

In general, not a bad box, not without flaws. It heats up well, I think you need to measure the temperature on the elements and put additional heatsinks on the chips. Problems with receiving over-the-air channels are most likely due to overheating and degradation of radio components. If you take it for yourself and are sure that you can cope with the tuning, subsequent problems on your own, then this tuner is worth the money. If your hands are not sharpened correctly and you call the master for every trifle, then you should not mess with cheap set-top boxes, it is better to buy a normal TV set from a famous brand with the same tuners, it will be more expensive, but many times less problems. You should not advise this box to a friend if you are not sure that it will work 100%.

Pros
  • Multiformat tuner combine. I have been using it for several months, I found the terrestrial channels immediately and without any problems on a home-made indoor antenna, two squares, the location of the antenna did not matter, everything worked. From the ABS2 satellite, instead of the Amazon prefix, 64 FTA (open) channels were caught. Connected via HDMI to a new TV set, everything works. But I bought an Elenberg TV set to work with a cheap already flat, but without digital interfaces. I connected it through tulips, with a standard wire, the image shows striping, as if a striped template was put on the picture. On another TV set, through tulips, this problem is not present, it is to see such compatibility of these two devices. Tulips from the Amazon satellite set-top box are not suitable, you see the wiring is different.
Cons
  • A few months later, one terrestrial television multiplex fell off, the second shows with fading. From the same antenna as during the first connection, while the on-air receiver BBK from this antenna receives both multiplexes with a bang, and it is already 2 years old. After dancing with a tambourine, I assembled another antenna in the form of one ring and found a place where it catches the first multiplex while it is working. But I already bought the swa-777 lux amplifier in advance, (only 100), for two squares. If the signal deteriorates, then I will install an amplifier, the prefix allows you to power the amplifier via cable.
