Photos of installed camera are misleading

For the money this is a very good deal; two complete kits (cameras, cables, mounts) for $20. You'll need to have fairly good manual dexterity to assemble the holder, but do it slowly and carefully and you'll be fine. It helps if you install one screw without the side panels, install the side panel on the other side with two screws but leave them slightly loose so you can loosen the first screw and then attach the side and base panels and then the last screw. and then tighten all. However, I greatly underestimated because the photos are misleading. On each side of the cable, one side has blue insulator and the other side has pins. On the camera side, the pins point forward, while on the Pi, the pins point away from the audio jack. If you look at the last pictures showing how it looks when you're done, the pins should be on one side of the cable, but the cables have pins on opposite sides. This means that if the cable is properly installed, the bracket needs to be on the other side of the Raspberry Pi, which is the side of the Ethernet and USB cables, to seat properly. To place the holder on the visible side, the cable must be half-twisted. Alternatively, you can also put the camera in a holder with the cable coming out at the top, but then it is less stable. On the plus side, if you plug it into the Pi Zero it will actually be correct.
