I ordered a used version of this product that was supposed to be Like New. It wasn't. The packaging was minimal, no foam protection, not even plastic around the unit. The last owner just tossed all the pieces in the box and sealed it. There were no screws but one to put the legs on, the fireplace was cracked and broken where legs attach, the screw holes were stripped out, impossible to use (tested with the one screw in the box).The light worked, could not test the heater without legs as the vent is on the bottom of unit.About product. The frame, glass and imitation embers are attractive. The fire is really fake. This unit was in really poor condition so a new one could look different. Nice glow though. From 15 ft away it resembled flames periodically. There was no remote. Product information suggests there is one I guess. Legs are plastic. If they go you will be left with a fire hazard.I guess Revain needs to check used items to confirm what the seller says customers are receiving or they sent me someones junk accidentally, cause that's what this was. If I thought the product had potential I'd reorder but I won't reorder because for just a few dollars other products have a much better look and functionality. I doubt I'll ever purchase used again. Maybe items that don't have multiple parts. There was just too much wrong with this. It really did seem like someones junk.I'm not a snob. If this delivered what it promised I would have given lots of stars. Both it's condition and quality didn't live up to pictures or product descriptions.
