Review on 🏠 Zoovilla Dog Crate: The Ultimate Dog Kennel and Cage Solution! by Olivia Barber

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Excellent price. Perfect size

I'm a keen DIY enthusiast and wanted something more aesthetic in my living room than a wire cage for our sheltie pup. Creating the crate wasn't a problem, but I would add a few tips. Use original Gorilla Waterproof Glue to attach the wooden dowels. This glue will expand and fill in the dowel holes well since they are too big for the dowels. Use a Phillips head to firmly tighten the locking bolts, making sure to insert them as straight as possible. Any deviation and you won't be able to catch the cam locks properly. Cam locks are fairly cheap and don't need to be overtightened. Use a large Philips socket or large flathead screwdriver to position the cam locks. The plastic tray is practically unusable as it is too small for the drawer. The wooden lattice cover is not attached anywhere, it just sits "in place” on the floor. This could use a better design. The front doors open nicely, but they're not attached to anything when open, so you'll need to secure them to keep them from wobbling in the open path. We used some Velcro to keep the doors level while our pup is out of the crate so she can come in whenever she wants and take a nap. The inside measurements are a bit difficult to find a pillow for a good fit. After a few tries, we finally bought a 28" x 18" Brindle Soft Memory Foam. It fits perfectly in the box. Our sheltie puppy is 4 months old. It's a good size for her and will likely last for quite a while unless she decides to chew her way out, which doesn't seem to be the case at the moment. Hope this helps anyone looking at this box!
