Review on 📟 HawkEye DT2BX-TH: Advanced In-Dash Depth Sounder with Temperature Measurement & Thru Hull Transducer by Lonnie Batch

The device worked properly. I installed in August 2012 and everything was great. It worked last summer and now when I sell the boat I installed it in it won't read the bottom! It reads air and water temps well, but not the bottom. Based on my experience I ordered a Hawkeye for a new boat. The new boat has a depth sounder, but it doesn't read a permanent bottom. There are delays. Hawkeye, when it works, ALWAYS reads a constant bottom. That's what I like about the product but to be honest the fish finder in the 1998 Ski Nautique still works so which one is better. I will attempt to obtain warranty service from Hawkeye.
