Review on High Speed Steel (HSS) Jointer Knives for JET 708457K JJ-6CS, Set of 3 by POWERTEC - 6-Inch by Kenneth Martin

To be clear my expectations were not very high given the cost. After that has been said. Everything seems fine from the packaging, the sharp one seemed to have a decent bevel. After adjusting/leveling, my depth of cut was 0 so I could crawl up and get an accurate 1/32 inch per pass. Did 5 or 6 passes on the 2x4 to dial in the bed. Then it went on to a piece of 5/4" x 3" maple. Face docked (maybe 4 passes) the results were great. At this point I was very excited about my new knife pick chips. >:(Again my expectations were low but I couldn't process a board before getting some damage!? Hopefully my experience was random and others don't have the same problem. For me it was a waste of time and money.and will look for another brand search to replace them.
