Exactly what I was looking for.

My brother-in-law installed one of these on the bathroom cabinet because his wife (my sister) slams the cabinet door several times in the morning while getting ready for work, waking him up. It worked great so I ordered 10 packs to try on my kitchen cabinets. They worked so well I ordered 10 more packs to finish the kitchen cabinets and used extras for the bathroom cabinets and another for the spring hinged basement door. they appear to be thin. However, if you install them properly, they are strong and won't bend or move when your closet door closes. * The adjustment screw on the back does not adjust the tension. It simply allows you to adjust the depth of the butt. If you have a heavy door, you may need to use two dampers. * They must have spring loops. To check for springs on the hinges, open the door a few inches and release. If it closes on its own, the hinges most likely have springs. Installation couldn't be easier. It took me about 30 seconds for each door. I used two cordless drills to speed up the process. One had a pilot hole drill (this is necessary or you will split the wood on the front frame of the cabinet) and one had a Phillips head screwdriver. Make sure you follow the instructions. The pilot holes must be drilled at a 65 degree angle. The angle of the screw gives it the strength to stay tight under pressure. You don't need to measure or calculate the angle. Just use the damper itself as a guide. Benefits: No more slamming cupboard doors. No need to buy expensive soft-close hinges. Only requires one per cabinet. Does not affect the functionality of the cabinet.
