Review on πŸ”© Red Stainless Steel Nut and Bolt Thread Gauge by Chris Litton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Needs some work

I happened to have a #12 machine screw I wanted to check and noticed there was no #12 hole in the jig. Of course I could tell by exclusion that it's #12, but I think the sensor should include all the smaller sizes and skip the largest size, or just make the sensor a bit larger to fit. Have you ever used a 1" screw? Exactly. The threaded pressure gauge is also not convenient to use. First, the markings are difficult to read because they are not colored. Therefore, the labels must be drawn as they appear on the other side are. And secondly, I think it's not that easy to combine the threads. The higher ridges should make the final identification easier.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
