First off let me say these things are huge, my photo is next to a set of regular sized needle noses. So if you're looking for something to remove large snap rings from medium/light trucks like the F-150-F-450, you'll need a smaller set. The tabs on it are larger than the holes on most right hand latches, including the axle hub retaining ring on my F-250. They are definitely designed to be removed from larger vehicles. I still gave them 5 stars because they are a quality pliers set that comes with a nice case and most importantly is affordable.
