OK FRIENDS. BEST NEWS! We were delighted to give this bike to our granddaughter for her 5th birthday. It was yesterday, August 2nd, 2021. Imagine our dismay as we packed up the bike and rode to her house. She waited anxiously in the driveway only to find it clicked. A loud click each time the petals round. We thought they were training wheels and took them off. Click more! until then, everyone was stunned. So we took the bike away from her, which brought a lot of tears, and we returned home. I had every intention of returning the bike to Amazon for 1 more. About 15 minutes later my hearing impaired husband called me down the stairs and said can you hear the clicking because I can't feel it anymore. I didn't hear the click, how cool is that? What did you do? I untied the chain. The manufacturer pulled the chain so tight that there was this clicking sound as it pulled back from the chain a bit, which solved the whole problem. I now have a very happy 5 year old granddaughter who got it back straight away. I hope this helps anyone who had this problem! Or maybe a problem in the future! Now she is a very happy 5 years old and has two very proud grandparents. No training wheels!😂Thank you for reading this entire review.
