Review on Gorilla Automotive 76683N System Duplex by Demond Clenney

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Be extra careful during installation.

I just fitted new tires, removed/fitted the lugs for the first time and the tire salesman said the removal tool got stuck on a couple of lug nuts and needs tapping to work some of them were installed without the use of air/pneumatic tools, only hand tools. The chrome is already worn and the splines may have been stripped so I will be contacting the company for a replacement or refund. The older style of this product that I replaced had tool serrations that extended to the tips of the lug nuts, allowing the tool to hold the tool securely. As you can see, the new style only has a short area for the tool to work in. The removal tool is also much smaller/shorter and apparently lower quality than the old model. I still love the look and when I originally installed it I took extra care not to scratch the chrome as this has been an issue in previous reviews. Further investigation depends on the company's response to my warranty claims.
