I use it on my EcoPlus submersible pump - 633 gph. The bag does a great job of filtering small particles that don't stick to or get into the pump. As another reviewer noted, you have to put something in your pocket so it doesn't get in the way of the pump or interfere with the water flow. Without something big inside, you'll have to remove the bag to clean it every other day or your pump's flow rate will drop. The bag is a mesh type bag with a foam/cotton lining. It works really well as a filter.
