Although I cleaned my fountain it got clogged in less than 2 months and there is no way to wash it, it looks like dirt and leaves inside and will not come out ; i throw it away waste of money

After about 2 weeks the pump performance dropped to a minimum. I pulled out the bag-locked pump, rinsed it thoroughly out of the hose, threw it back in the water, and the flow was 100% again. I will buy the same for another pond.

Not the size it says it is, only 9" hole. The layers of material are too thin and have started to be sucked into the grate around the pump. An hour later he pulled in so tightly that the flow of water almost completely stopped. If I hadn't noticed, my pump would have died. Don `t save.

I use this filter over a pump in a shallow well. It keeps the pump impeller clean and the pump running when dirt and sand are present in the source water treated by the pump operation. Does what it's supposed to do and I'm glad I don't have to disassemble the pump to clean it. The only complaint is with the cleaning of the filter itself. Ha, like in dirty water you won't need it.

I have a fountain and the pump keeps getting clogged with dirt what a pain in A - so I bought this item and put a pump in and haven't cleaned it since. at least two months old now, wish they made a smaller one but it fits and probably helps with filtering anyway. If I close the well for the winter, I'll see how dirty it is, but the pump will be clean. If it helps anyone, at least 10 pump cleans helped me a lot. Buy it and save yourself some work.

I use it on my EcoPlus submersible pump - 633 gph. The bag does a great job of filtering small particles that don't stick to or get into the pump. As another reviewer noted, you have to put something in your pocket so it doesn't get in the way of the pump or interfere with the water flow. I bought this filter to fit a small 400 GPH pump in a 100 gallon pond. I had to make a hole in the side for the pipe leading to the waterfall. Also place a plastic screen (or you can use wire screen) in the bag so that it does not impede the flow of water through the pump. while it works fine. The EcoPlus pump bag filter is advertised as 10" x 12.5" but is not. The hole is only 9 inches, not even close. This is a great material that captures the smaller particles I wanted to keep out of my fog system.
