Delivery took longer than expected (thanks to RevainPrime for meeting those expectations) and the screen was cracked on receipt. Otherwise it seems to be a quality product overall. The resolution is higher than other similar products, although Raspbian's support for touch input with this device is suspect. Following the instructions for installing touch support on a Raspbian image, it still didn't work. (See instructions here: http://www.waveshare.com/wiki/7inch_HDMI_LCD_(C)) I've tried installing other drivers from different repositories and couldn't connect to the latest version of Raspbian (currently Jessie). I plugged it into my Mac and it was recognized immediately and touch seemed to work. I could move the mouse around the screen and click and drag "multitouch" but clicking on icons and tabs didn't work as if the clicks weren't recognized. There also seems to be some sort of "ghosting" as seen in the photos when connected to macOS. I'm waiting for a response from the seller for the return/exchange I requested.
