The standard riving knife on my DeWalt 7840 portable table saw has a minimum kerf of .093". This blade has a cutting width of .091 inch. Since the actual thickness of the riving knife is .089 inches, it would work if everything were perfectly aligned, but unfortunately it isn't. It's slightly off center and slices against the knife with that blade. I ended up buying another blade with a .098" kerf and have been cutting successfully ever since. Three years later, this guy is still hanging on the wall. Bottom Line: Before you buy, check your saw's riving knife specifications and orientation. Without the riving knife, this blade cuts very smoothly, but that's a safety hazard I don't want to accept. Another 0.02 inch and I would give it 5 stars. So he only gets three.
