Haven't tested it in the field yet.
But there's one problem that's only slightly problematic, which is why it doesn't get 5 stars: When you plug the adapter plug into this, you have to make sure that the plug, socket and device fit together are mounted in such a way that the inserted plug does not slip out of the adapter. This happened to me while testing it in the US. I turned everything upside down and it worked much better. Let's see how it behaves in the wild. I gave it 4 stars because I have another Bestek that isn't made for hair dryers that I LOVE so I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt.
