Works well and easy to install

Just what my 2015 Q50 Hybrid needs. It cost me less than $20 to ship the racks and they took about 15 minutes to install. The only tool required is a screwdriver. As others have noted, they are a bit longer than the originals, but I read reviews and watched YouTube videos so I knew how to use them. In short, park your car on a level surface or drive down a slope so the cover doesn't fall off when you remove both old covers. Remove both old upper tubes, attach the lower ends of the two new upper tubes, and then press on the decklid until the upper ends of the upper tubes fit into the mounting points. Note the alignment of the old ones and match them with the new ones. The ends of the cylinder should be at the top (attached to the trunk lid) and the shiny rods should be at the bottom (attached to the body). After installation, I found that the racks would support the weight of the trunk lid up to the latch point. I can only open it an inch or two and it will hold that position on its own. It only takes one finger to pick up, I'm very satisfied. No instructions are included, so read the reviews and watch a few YouTube videos to learn how to install.
