
is a bit more work as you have to drill a fairly large hole in the bottom of the post and then drive it into the post. But what I like about it is that on a concrete slab I felt it was a much more secure anchor than a single bolt in the middle of other post bases. Not only will you end up drilling a large hole in the center of the post, but at 6x6 I think you'll need to install 8 anchor bolts or screws into the concrete. In certain situations I think this will be the anchor I will be ordering from now on.
