You don't need it! For real!

Seriously, you don't need this for smartphones, cameras or computers. That's why. Look at the photos. If you bought a smartphone within the last 10 years, the electronics are designed for all international voltages. Why? because they are all made in China in a big factory and sold all over the world. We don't do stuff in the US anymore. Unless you have obscure electronics that are more than 10 years old, they're useless. You can always check the small labels on the electronics. Look for 110V-240V. This means that it runs on both 110 volts in the US and 220 or 240 volts worldwide. Here's an exception: Appliances like a hair dryer or toaster need the right voltage. The cheaper of these devices are not computer controlled and therefore require the correct voltage. The nicer ones will be double voltage. But here's the problem, this low-power converter will never run the hair dryer. It's only 200 watts maximum. Hair dryers from 600W so don't even think about using this for a toaster or hair dryer. As a result, this thing is not needed for any modern electronics. Things that really need it, it's too little to handle. I ask you what's good about it? wasting luggage space. Unfortunately, it's a device that makes you think you'd do something if it's a waste of time, money, and space. One of our family members bought it by accident. We didn't even bother to take it with us on the trip. We just bought square adapters to change the shape of the outlet. The fan always runs and is very loud. It s cheap. Nicer electronics turn off the fan when it's not needed. This fan is not required to charge smartphones with a current of 2A. I ended up sticking a popsicle stick into the fan to keep it from spinning. It's quiet now and we only use the 4 USB ports to charge our phones at home.
