The instructions aren't the best.
Great little mobile radio. Good reports of sending to a repeater at 59 miles on VHF 25 watts. The downside is the instructions. Blurred at best. Use the chirp program and I highly recommend watching some YouTube videos on this radio. The only reason I bought it is the price and I already had a QYT 980 Plus with the frequencies in my computer files. And I had to use the QYT 8900 program on Chirp to program the QYT 980 Plus from scratch. Overall a good starter setup but there is a learning curve. By the way, when you buy this radio, you buy a QYT dual band antenna. Almost perfect SWR without packaging.
