NOT DURABLE - peeling off

This worked great the first time I applied it, but after 2 years on the roof it started peeling all over. I have learned that it should NOT be used on RV roofs as it is acrylic based which means it will NOT be water resistant for a long time and will peel. It will give you a great feeling on your roof at first, but then it will be ruined after sitting long enough to peel off. This is a temporary solution that will at best delay the roof replacement for a year or two! Peeling wouldn't be such an issue if you could peel it all off at once, or if you could apply a new coat of a heavier coat without worrying about the weak acrylic peeling underneath, but I can't in good conscience give another coat over that , which detaches. If I could go back in time and do it all over again, I would use the HENRY roofing system, versions 887 and 885, which (unlike many other coatings) were developed for EPDM roofs, and after partially covering parts of my roof with it Recoated as a temporary repair they are extremely strong and durable. . I regret not always using it! If you buy this: be aware that it will FLY OFF eventually, even if you just apply it to a perfectly prepared surface. This is how acrylic paints work. This is not a negative judgment against the seller or manufacturer. It's just a poor product in terms of long term RV roof maintenance. Sorry, but that's nonsense :(
