This is the perfect starter set for our youngest child who has just started drawing after seeing me draw and being fascinated by Bob Ross. We added a small palette (she's 11 years old so a standard size would be too big for her), a set of spatulas and a stack of black and white canvas. If you are giving this as a gift or are new to oil painting make sure you have the included chemicals for priming, cleaning brushes etc. (Oh, and glasses. You're going to need glasses.) We're happy with the set and she can sit down for practically any episode on the Bob Ross channel and get everything she needs to complete the project.
