Bought to provide an ethernet bridge to my 5Ghz WiFi for devices without their own WiFi. This was the cheapest option I found that supported 5GHz and was POE. Well I got what I paid for, easy to set up but shuts down after a few minutes. After 5 minutes it will reconnect for another 2-3 minutes before failing again. I spent 2 hours of my morning searching their forums for problems to see if I could solve them. There are countless posts about the same problem I had with client mode in multi-SSID mode. Same protocols, same behavior, everything. Tried 3 different versions of firmware including a January 2021 "beta" which fixes the multiple SSID issue that others were having. There are no cubes in client mode. Note: The latest firmware on the product page is from last year. It is now June 2021 and the January beta has not yet been officially released. This does not inspire confidence in TP-Link's support for this product. I will return the device for a refund.
