I don't know what to think about this. He couldn't set up my Time Warner wireless router for the rest of his life. It shows 2 identical SSIDs, so I tried both multiple times. After I entered the password it huffed for a few minutes and then said I must have entered the wrong password. No! I tried a few more times and it gave me the same message. Tried WPS - same thing. I tried different USB ports on my Win7 - 64bit laptop. I even deleted and tried again. Then I went online and a year ago downloaded the latest software released in July 2013 and tried it. It didn't help. It doesn't adjust to my router. The message that I entered the wrong password kept flashing on the screen. I would disable the old wifi connection but still no change. I was about to wrap it up and send it back when I noticed my Wi-Fi tray icon looked different now. I tested it and now it showed 2 wifi connections. The old one was off but the new one was on and working fine. The error message is still flashing on the screen. So it works, but how it got there is beyond me. It somehow connected to the router, but it still gave me an error message that it didn't. Now it works fine and shows the correct download and upload speed. Let's see what happens in the next few days. I had to think carefully about how many stars I wanted to give. I base my review on the setting as it works well. Five stars would be a no-brainer, quick installation with no issues. Four stars would have been minor issues but it was up and running fairly quickly. Three stars would have caused me a lot of trouble as there were some issues to sort out before launch. Two stars mean a lot of hassle with the website, installing new software, fake error messages on the screen, to packaging and shipping back. Sounds like 2 stars to me. But since it works, I give it one more star. So three. TP-Link engineers may need to re-qualify it. I myself have IT experience in the areas of hardware, software, programming and support.
