I wanted to love this product so bad. I previously bought something similar from Home Depot and had to take it off and throw it away as it didn't work properly either. So actually I am going to buy two items to cover my door and my door is still open. I am so disappointed! First, the package arrived on time, which is very satisfied. I think it was even early. I read the reviews and watched the installation video. I bought a squeegee just to apply it. I measured and cut the film, leaving room around the edges so it doesn't touch the door frame. He just sat on flat glass. I sprayed my glass door heavily with water after a VERY thorough cleaning. I put it on and it looked so great I threw the packaging away. But I came into my office the next day and noticed that the floor was not sticking to the door. Nothing I've tried will make it stick. I've redid the whole door 6 times hoping it will finally hold but it doesn't. I think the bottom of the foil is where the foil has been folded too tightly to fit in the shipping tube. It's the only thing I can think of. But it doesn't stick. And after a day, the entire pane always detaches completely from the glass. I am so disappointed! If you look closely at my photo, you can see that the foil isn't sticking to the edges. In the second photo, I pressed the foil down so you can see that it's not in contact with the side of the door in any way. If I shorten it even further, people can look into my office, then what's the point of a privacy film? Not that it helped him stick with it. Pooh. I definitely do not recommend this product!
