I wish I had bought this sooner! After purchasing a 40 inch Masterbuilt smoker I decided to purchase this thermometer to use when smoking my 1st packer brisket. Meat was $72 at Costco and I didn't want to make a mistake. This thermometer comes with six sensors. and I used two on the Packers Cut Brisket - 1 on the flat and 1 on the tip. It worked great! This thermometer also has an app that I downloaded to my Samsung phone which stays connected via bluetooth. The app has preset cooking temperatures, like the ability to add new presets (which I did for each of the 3 steps in cooking Texas Brisket). I love the fact that I can set the temperature of each individual probe and get notifications when the internal temperature reaches the desired temperature. This takes the guesswork out and guarantees perfection. After the brisket was cooked, I used a thermometer to smoke the turkey and roast 2 of the best ribs for Christmas dinner. The alarm clock rang and it turned out to be the best roast we've ever made. (-) My only criticism. The magnet on the back of the device is not strong enough to hold the device securely to my smoker's side. (+) What I like is the ability to control the temperature via Bluetooth with an alarm. It works fantastic!
