Good overall but a design flaw

I bought this because I'm familiar with a 3/4" forstner bit " wanted to drill deep holes. I carefully checked that the dimensions of the barrel that the drill is in are 3/4 inch. Perfect! With a diameter of 3/4 inch, it would not only slide into that drill crazy hole, but also help keep the hole vertical. It will not fit in the hole created by the 3/4" bit. A good idea spoiled by frivolity sits in a drawer, waiting for either a bigger hole or homebrew adjustments.

Pros

Drilling with Forstner bits to get a flat bottom or to start a deep drilling project like a large vase or vessel is nearly impossible with a standard length Forstner bit. To solve this problem we have designed a reinforced steel extension that allows you to hold a 3/8" shank forstner bit in an end collet.
