I just replaced the spark plugs in my 2009 2.5 liter Jetta with these NGK spark plugs. The OEMs were Bosch, and after 80,000 miles they were pretty much used up. Took me about 30 minutes to swap them out (due to some really tricky connectors to remove from the coil packs. They're pre-gaps so really just unscrew the old ones and screw in the new ones. You're going to need a spark Socket (5/8") with at least a 6" extension for your socket. I recommend an anti-seize coating as they appear to be nickel plated and should hold up well, but I plan on keeping them for 100k if No problems Will do an update after some time Looking forward to the extra power Already feeling a bit more power and throttle response I just changed the oil but VW recommends changing the spark plugs at 80k and by the looks of the OEM -Judging by spark plugs, it's better to do it sooner than later.
