Review on 🔧 GM Original Equipment Power Steering Pump - ACDelco 15909826 by Luis Estrella

Information before you buy. Although it says AC Delco, it's made in China. I replaced the pump and found that the high pressure hose o-ring (the new one did not come with the pump) was not seated properly. unfortunately pinned so as not to damage the o-ring and after a 100 mile ride for 1000 miles the line leaked draining the reservoir. I was able to tighten the fitting enough to slow the leak, smashed the o-ring, and hobbled home. It turned out that the new high pressure line fitting did not have the right chamfer to seat the o-ring properly, causing the o-rings to splinter. I used an old fitting and installed a new Napa pump (made in China by the same people who made the AC Delco, same castings and laser engraved numbers), flush, power steering now fried from pump fragments. Check the high-pressure connection carefully.
