The cutest kennel! Ideal for small pets up to 10-12 pounds, the smaller the better. I bought this for my Yorkie and she plays with it all day and hides her toys inside, sits upstairs to watch her people, looks out the window, brings treats for her dog to snack on. I painted the paneling white to give it a beach house look and put her initials on it. The stairs are a bit narrow, so I put an anti-slip mat on them (filling in kitchen cupboards). It took a few tries and a few dog treats to teach my little one how to use the stairs and the non-slip padding helped her get up and down more easily. Now it goes up and down with no problems. It's small enough to fit indoors, but probably works just as well outdoors. It is made of cedar wood and has a pleasant smell. If it is to be used outdoors I would recommend some form of weather protection for the wood. My only complaint is that the delivery was a day late and I ordered it on Amazon Prime for two days.
