Finally! Okay, so the first one got delivered and the diopter oil leaked, smelled really bad and even melted the plastic on the box. This block has been returned. The second block received calibration diopter oil in a small bottle with a tightly closed lid. Well done! Calibration was easy, just follow the instructions. After putting a small drop on the shiny side of the crystal, place it with the shiny oil side down on the blue prism of the refractometer, close the plastic daylight plate and examine it carefully and place it on the Brix mark displayed on the scale. The quality seems pretty good and the tools and box are a must for an optical instrument.
