I tried them for the first time yesterday on my young pomeranian as she is going through her first heat cycle. I found out by accident as she had some blood on the pillow case. Luckily nature miracle laundry additive took that out (it was cream colored pillow case .-.) and I went on the journey to find some reusable diapers.Fabric: I added a sanitary pad for extra protection to keep her more clean and it stuck on fine. The fabric is really nice. It's definitely absorbent and soft inside the diaper while the outside has what I would call waterproof material. The pattern is adorable and it's the reason why I chose it.Poop: As for pooping, she was able to poop while wearing her diaper when she went to the pads, which is quite a surprise, but a good one since I can only imagine the mess I have to clean if it was inside her diaper. The downside of this is to be careful because if she has slight diarrhea, it will get all over the outside of the diaper. I learned the hard way with this -_-;. Luckily because of the waterproof outside of the diaper, it is easy to clean the outside of the diaper while she runs around with our bigger dog and other pomeranian.Urine absorbency: For urine, this will definitely hold urine! She snuck away while I was working to try and go pee on a potty pad in another room. She acts like she has unlimited urine sometimes and will pee even off the clock of potty break time =_=;. It definitely held the urine!Comfort level: I bought a small diaper for my pom. At first I was a little hesitant and wondered if I didn't measure her right as she was walking very weirdly at first, but she started to get used to it and was waddling around like usual, following me around and going up and down the stairs. It has elastic which helps stretch the material and velcro to put it together. As she isn't used to the diaper, she sometimes tries to chew on it so I have to keep an eye on her while I'm working from home.Overall: very cute. It helps with the urine and heat cycles definitely. If you're looking for something to help with poop, I don't think this is it. My fiance really loves the diapers. He laughs that we have a little baby dog run around with a diaper in the house. Now she can lay down comfortably on the bed in the early mornings without worry of staining our bedsheets xD
