I had an earlier version that had a much larger hopper, the blades locked with a twist of the handle and was very stable when chopping due to the much larger footprint. inside with these little plastic tabs. They will break off over time, probably right after the return window has closed! The container is less than half the size of the old version. When hacking, the action seems very unstable, with the blades and handle being pulled right out of the container from time to time. Disaster is waiting in the wings! The only reason I bought this is because I dropped the glass jar. I don't know why they thought this flimsy model was a good idea. Fullstar, if you're listening, you're bringing back the old, far superior model. I am sending this back!
