Gift to mom for Christmas (2020). One side of the teapot is burned and this is not due to misuse. Also, as others have said, the design of the handle is poor because it's VERY easy to get burned. Look closely at the photo of the teapot. Imagine picking it up and you'll find that your hand is usually holding it by the metal.
