Review on ACDelco 10391699 Original Equipment Intermediate by Nick Atkinson

This OEM part fitted my 2002 Yukon Denali (not XL) perfectly. This cable is no longer universal, so there is no longer an adjustable connector. Instead, they are now sold in specific lengths that match the vehicle's wheelbase. By the way, it was a very quick install using the right tools. I used a Schley Products SLY-10500 tool to disconnect the good cable (from the parking brake pedal) from the old intermediate cable which in my case broke at the back. I used the Lisle 44220 tool to reconnect the cables. I tried installing without them but to no avail and very disappointed. Using these specialty tools has made a difference for me. Less than 5 minutes! They were also available on Revain.
