Not as shown Parking

We had to use our old rusty EQ because it didn't come with the new one as shown in the picture. There was also no adjustment screw.

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Worked great 2000 Yukon

I just installed this on my 2000 Yukon and it fitted perfectly. Works well and can only hope it lasts a long time. If not, I'll update the review!

Pros
  • Decent performance

Fits perfectly. for parking

I have a 2005 Chevy Tahoe Z71. and of course, as we all know, Chevrolets are prone to rust. An e-brake cable recently snapped and it's completely rusted - thanks to GM. I'm glad I found this replacement. It fitted perfectly and I got my electronic brake back.

  • nice thing

same part used by dealer just cheaper

this is a refurbished part - not the same as the original - same part number used by the dealer - I used to replace a broken wire on the tacho 04 it is just no adjustable cord as before but works as it should

Cons

DO NOT BUY. NO ADJUSTING SCREW

Took a few hours to install. I had to completely remove the rear brake cables and readjust everything simply because there is no nut to adjust and install the tgi. What a nightmare, I thought I'd throw out the cable and get another one. Don't buy this.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Functionality

Simply good! Fits perfectly, looks well made.

This cable looks very well made and fits my 2000 Yukon perfectly. Some reviewers noted the lack of an adjuster - this cable is perfect when you're pulling hard on the spring in the pedal mechanism. . That's how it's supposed to work, it has to be tight, right? The original cable had an adjuster but my mechanic said they made it for a factory setting where it could be used in different cars.

Pros
  • Replacement Parts
Cons
  • Compatibility

Same as picture but can't install

I said it's ok because it's like the picture but I can't install it without the adjust screw on the back like the original. Is there another with adjustment (1.5 inch) that I could use to install an intermediate cable? I figured I could install it as is. The picture was exactly what I received. So if I can order/pay for the correct OEM I will leave the wrong one ($14 only) and update the review.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Something else

Fits perfectly! Special tools make replacement easier.

This OEM part fitted my 2002 Yukon Denali (not XL) perfectly. This cable is no longer universal, so there is no longer an adjustable connector. Instead, they are now sold in specific lengths that match the vehicle's wheelbase. By the way, it was a very quick install using the right tools. I used a Schley Products SLY-10500 tool to disconnect the good cable (from the parking brake pedal) from the old intermediate cable which in my case broke at the back. I used the Lisle 44220 tool to reconnect…

Pros
  • Brake system
Cons
  • Almost never
