Review on Microplane 38004 Professional Stainless Construction by Kahyin Hawkins

I'm tired of bulky graters that are difficult to clean and store, so I decided to give these a try. After reading the reviews I decided on this one. I just wanted a regular grater that grinds to the size of store bought grated cheese. I'm trying to get away from all that processed food (but I love cheese), so I'm just starting to grind up my own store-bought blocks (which saves money too). I like the rubber tip that helps stabilize this chopper and keeps it from slipping. So far I've only used it to grind plain cheeses like Swiss (picture), Cheddar or Mozza. So far, so good! Very good and easy to grind cheese. It is easy to clean by hand but be careful as it will tear the sponge and fingertips. It is easy to store in my cutlery drawer. And the plastic cover is good for storage. I've been using it for a few months now and it hasn't faded at all. Notice what others have said about sticky sticker residue. Yes I have it too and it is a great pain and disappointment. I don't know why they didn't change the type of adhesive or the location of the sticker. I rubbed it with vinegar and every time I wash it I try to remove more residue. Still gets 5 stars because it's been a great grater so far. I know I rely heavily on reviews.
