Didn't hold up well

I had a cheap non-stick ceramic pan like the one shown on TV when I first moved into my house and it served me surprisingly well. The handle broke but the workmanship was flawless. So when I bought a new set of pots and pans, I knew I wanted ceramic. Also, I wanted to avoid potentially harmful chemicals in other nonstick coatings. So I bought these pans about 10 months ago. At first I was very happy with them. Things didn't last and it seemed like a good deal. I wanted to keep them in good condition for a long time, so I ditched my metal cookware and just used wood and silicone cookware. I also never used steel or copper wool for fear of damaging the finish. I didn't wash them in the dishwasher either, just in case. Unfortunately they didn't last like my old cheap ones. Now things stick and the finish wears off. I could just as easily cook in stainless steel, although the finish in its current state benefits me. Next time I will buy pots and pans individually and put together a quality set instead of trying to take the label like I did this time. The positive side is now that they don't work well anymore, I can start throwing them in the dishwasher.
