Review on Hankook Tire Kinergy Eco K425 195/65 R15 91T summer by Dimitar Kostakev ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very pleased with this purchase, will recommend it to everyone!

I put it on a Nissan Note with a dimension of 185/65 r15 T. It cost 2166s. per wheel (bought in St. Petersburg in mid-April 2022). It is too early to talk about the reliability and durability of this rubber, so I only describe the first impressions. Decided to ate my review after 4 months. operation and 7000 km of run, because was extremely surprised by the recall of Vitaly Polyansky (dated July 22). Interestingly, my experience is completely at odds with the description, cat. presented by Vitaly. Of course, the seasonal mileage in a taxi cannot be compared with mine, but still. My wear at the moment is somewhere around 10-15%. I did not feel any problems with handling (about the cat. Vitaly pointed out). Iron did not catch. For all the time I only pumped up 1 time by 0.1-0.2 atm. (although it was possible not to pump). But I caught pits several times and at a decent speed - everything is in order with rubber. Rubbed on the curbs - also no problem. The speed index of my rubber is very modest (T - 190 km / h), however, its durability has not caused any complaints so far. In general, I am completely at a loss from Vitaly's review, because in my case, with reliability and durability, everything is in order so far.

Pros
  • Soft. It performs well at temperatures close to zero. Holds the car well in corners. Allows you to control the car during sharp maneuvers. Very good at braking. On wet roads you feel quite confident. Ruts and small irregularities are swallowed easily and without much discomfort. This rubber keeps a straight line very well (the steering wheel is clearly and evenly, I even changed my mind about doing wheel alignment). Roll forward, with minimal loss of speed, became very long. Subjectively, the car on such rubber becomes very obedient, quickly responds to gas and brake. What pleases: tires are very inexpensive.
Cons
  • Not as quiet as it seemed, in contrast to the winter Velcro (Goodyear UltraGrip Ice 2). Fuel economy, again, in comparison with the same Velcro, I did not notice. In general, now I’m thinking, maybe any other fresh rubber would show itself like that? But, when I compare the price, I understand that this option is still very good, namely, in terms of price-quality ratio.
