Review on 🔵 MicTuning LS081602JL: Backlit Fog Lights Rocker Switch Kit - On/Off LED Light, 20A 12V Toggle (Blue) by Anthony Boylan

Overall this is a great product. However, after asking for a replacement due to the top LED not working when turned on, the replacement gave the same result. I have a 2005 Toyota Tacoma. The switch sat well in the original blank spot on the switch after a little trimming. The switch turns on and off normally. Wiring was simple and straightforward. However, I can't help but wonder if I'm doing something wrong. When I turn the lights on, the bottom LED that says "Fog Lights" goes out and the top LED that says fog lights icon doesn't light up. on the. This leaves me with a completely dark switch at night. It's not that big of a deal since I can feel the path to the switch, but it ruins the idea of having that nice blue fog light switch on the dash lit. I wired this directly to a switchable fuse so it doesn't turn on until the ignition is on. What am I doing wrong? I asked the question in a Q&A to no avail. If so, then the description is wrong. However, I've read other reviews where it works as intended. I have two bad switches in a row? I'd like to end up with 4-5 more to complete the panel, but I won't buy them unless they work as they should.
