. They are perfect for my 2015 Ram, I got it because when I recently bought a truck I found that the diesel engine cover was missing (which is a common occurrence). It is important to note that the "optional" o-ring is NOT optional. If you read the listing description carefully you will see that this is a slightly larger o-ring which should be used if what is written on the diesel engine cover does not suit you. I changed them and after that the cap became much tighter. If you have an aluminum gas cap the magnet is useless there, but I've found it sticks to the side of the truck with no problem. and the truck cover (it pops out of the plastic inner panel fairly easily and snaps back into place easily) and then using a small flat head screwdriver gently pry the retaining ring off the factory cover and it only takes your fingers to install it. on the replacement cover.
