Great product! I bought a practical version of the gas cap. Perfect fit and I love the 2 o-ring options for an easy or snug fit. The magnet on the tank cap is very strong. The DEF cap fits nicely. I reused the plastic strap for the DEF cap and it fits great, but it was a little difficult to get the old cap off. The colors on the caps look like they will wear off over time as I scratched the DEF cap by putting a plastic cable over it. Overall a good product and does what it's supposed to.

Good quality. To remove the cable, simply pull it out of the gas filling area. Push the cable up through the small gap with a sharp tool, remove the plastic ring from the old DEF cover with the same sharp tool, this will bend the old cover a bit. Attach the ring to the new DEF cap with the open side down (this is pretty easy, but be careful). Both fit perfectly and much better than what came from the factory! Dodge offers a plastic DEF cover and NOTHING for the diesel cover, which I find incredible for a truck that costs nearly $70,000! Great products install in under 2 minutes. This involved removing the original factory DEF cap from the snap ring and installing a new cap into the snap ring. Other reviewers have noted that the DEF cap does not fit the retaining ring when in fact it does, at least on a 2018 Ram. Take your time. When installing, I simply put one side in the groove and then, using only my hand to avoid scratching, pressed the retaining ring against the new cover.

I tried a small flathead screwdriver with little effect until I accidentally ripped the string from the pad.
