Review on πŸ”§ Olsa Tools 7-Piece Bolt Extractor Offset Wrench Set – Rounded Nut Remover, Stripped Bolt & Nut Remover – Metric Wrench Set, Professional Grade by Ryan Turner

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The teeth are not sharp enough for the round bolt I have

I soaked the screw in WD-40 overnight before trying to remove it, but it didn't work. Incidentally, the screw is the original screw that held the hood latch on a 1969 Dodge Dart. The extractor's teeth just aren't high enough or sharp enough to bite into or sink into the rounded edge of this infamous 52-year-old bolt. I've also tried using attachments designed to salvage such corrupted items. Do nothing! Perhaps because the culprit is in a confined space and the nest was too big. I was able to loosen another screw, which also held the mechanism for many years, with a standard 1/2 inch wrench. Drill out this screw instead. I gave this set four stars because I know these wrenches will work with bolts that aren't as messed up as the one I'm referring to now. Also because the ejection keys come in a nice box and sleeve and they appear to be made in Canada. There is no "Made in China" on the packaging! PS: Maybe because I used a 13mm wrench on the screw, the extraction wasn't successful if you think about it.
