You'll need a hydraulic jack to set them up unless you can push like the Hulk.
I have a 2000 F150, 150,000 miles, shock absorbers obviously worn out. They are "O/E" type and appear to be much stronger than any dampers I have installed over the years. I had to use my jack cleverly to even compress them for installation. They seem worth the price, I'll update you on how long they last like O/E in a few years.
