Replacing some parts on a Macintosh is particularly annoying since Apple uses 'strange' screws. I recently had to replace the battery on a 2012 15" MacBook Pro. The bottom was easy to open, but of course the battery is held in place with a set of screws I've never seen before. (Thanks Apple for that you made it so easy!) But this is the tool kit you need to easily remove the Y head screws used by Apple.Although I only needed one size I have already used the other sides to install another MacBook battery to open so you won't be surprised if you have the ability to have dimensions handy the only thing I would have liked was an actual case to keep them together rather than a package that doesn't work properly .
