Review on SoundAlert 12V 100W Police Siren PA System: Slim Speaker, 118-124dB, Handheld Microphone, Hands-Free - Emergency Siren for Vehicles, Truck, UTV, ATV, Car, POV by Robert Norris

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Decent volume but not enough stroke volume.

Decent volume with all sirens and horns. PA lacks the same punch as the rest but at the same volume setting. But it can be used. Perhaps the traditional version of the horn speaker could be louder than this slim speaker. It should be a little louder. And another 30 dollars. I installed this in a 2016 Tahoe and running wires from inside the truck to the engine bay was a nightmare. There is only one passage, and that's where the police equipment goes. Otherwise, the inner case has 3 separate walls that cannot be penetrated. Search YouTube for location walkthrough videos for your app if you install it in a newer model car. My Tahoe has a connector in the A-pillar grommet just behind the driver's door top hinge. It then enters the engine compartment through the inner fender. Use stiff but flexible wire to thread through the passage to the under dash area. Make sure that you only connect the power supply with the ignition switched on. Otherwise, connecting the battery directly may drain the battery overnight if you leave the power switch on, causing you to be late for work. Ask me how I know!
