For the price and portability, this hub is a no-brainer!

Hub works great! My hard drives, MIDI keyboard and wireless mouse work well over two USB ports. The HDMI connection hasn't let me down yet, and 4K at 30Hz isn't too bad, but I can see how cool 60 would be. However, I'm not sure we can expect so much performance from such a portable and stylish device. My drives transfer data quickly, as does the SD card slot. The only minor issue is that the TB3 power connector doesn't charge your laptop as quickly, since the hub uses some of that energy for the peripherals you plug into it (I seem to have noticed slightly better performance with my portable hard drive than I did it was). connected to the network). It also gets a little warm, and when I connect a Logitech wireless mouse receiver to it, it can turn off the mouse simply by placing my hand on or over the receiver (probably because I'm not plugging the hub into the MBP). Charger). , I connect the charger directly to the computer). I had an issue when I first plugged it into the left side of my MBP (complete, very neat, no gaps as instructed) and my computer didn't recognize anything plugged into it. The right side worked great. I restarted my computer and everything was fine. Support was quick to respond to my concerns about this and said it was not uncommon on first use. Since then I do not have problems anymore. When I'm at home, I use my ultra-reliable and powerful CalDigit TB3 powered hub for home recording where I need the best performance and the most gear. Fully charged and in general everything is faster and more efficient thanks to TB3. However, look at different prices and sizes. For a portable setup when traveling or working at other studios I find this Charjenpro hub perfect!
